Fort Fisher II
On Saturday April 21, 2007 C.P.R.S. conducted an second investigation of Fort Fisher. Six members were present and were broken into three groups to cover the entire location. We conducted a walk thru of the area prior to getting started while it was still daylight. There were people still at the Fort so we decided to wait until dark to proceed. The weather was clear with the temp around 45.
We got started right after dusk and we concentrated on three areas. The area around the vistor center, the beach, and the bridge/sheppards battery area. Kenny and trey saw what appeared to be someone wearing grey in the wooded area behind the visitor's center. At the bridge four members smelled what they thought to be gun powder. While Angie and myself were on the battery she heard a male voice twice like he was in pain.
Angie and myself were on the beach and in one spot near the rocks we both felt a warm spot in an area of about 2 feet wide. You could actually walk in and out of the spot and feel the difference. My infrared temp went from 42 to 67 degrees in that spot.
In one area of the Fort I got several unexplainable pics from my digitial camera. I would call these energey pics because it shows alot of light in the pics that was not seen at the time they were taken. They have been posted on the site. Several EVP'S were captured by angie and myself at different locations throughtout the Fort. Here are some of the voices that were caught on audio and have been examined to make sure they are not any of the memebers present. Each person had audio going at the time and we always compare with each member.
cannon fire or drums
male voice saying "walk with me"
male voice saying "angie angie"
female voice saying "whatever"
female voice saying "no"
several more on website forum
Overall it was a very good investigation. We captured some very impressive pics and audio. This location always proves to have activity each time we visit and this time was no different. We may plan another follow up this fall to go back and visit general Whiting.

Pic of the battery platform and no one was there at the time the pic was taken. Is that something standing there?
